6/18/14 -  WHEN I GOT UP THIS A.M. I HAD NO IDEA WHAT I WANTED FOR BREAKFAST AS SOMETIMES MY HUSBAND AND I DIFFER AND DON'T EAT THE SAME THING.  HOWEVER, THE FIRST THING THAT CAUGHT MY EYE WAS THE RIGATONI BOX I PLACED ON THE KITCHEN COUNTER LAST NIGHT AS I HAVE BEEN MEANING TO MAKE MACARONI & CHEESE OR RIGATONI AND TOMATO W/BASIL AND ONIONS.

I WASTED NO TIME IN HEADING FOR THE PATIO WHERE I AM GROWING MY HERBS IN BIG POTS FOR QUICK ACCESS.  I CUT PLENTY OF GREEK BASIL AS I WAS ANXIOUS TO TASTE IT IN MY PASTA SAUCE.  I MADE MY CHUCK MEATBALLS SEASONED WITH SEA SALT, GROUND GARLIC AND RED CHILI FLAKES.  WHILE THEY SAUTEED,  I ATE HALF OF A MANGO AND A HARD-BOILED EGG TO GIVE ME A LITTLE STRENGTH UNTIL THE PASTA WAS DONE.  OF COURSE, I COULD HARDLY WAIT FOR THE PASTA AND THE SAUCE.  WHEN EVERYTHING WAS DONE,  IT WAS PAST 11:00 A.M. AND I SERVED ME A BOWL, WHICH CONTENTS MELTED IN MY MOUTH.  AS YOU MIGHT IMAGINE, I DOUBT IF I WILL HAVE DINNER TONIGHT.  AND, I USUALLY MAKE PASTA FOR ABOUT THREE DAYS AT A TIME.

THE LAST TIME I SHOPPED AT WAL-MART, THEY HAD A SPECIAL ON ITALIAN BREAD AT 99 CENTS EACH AND I LOADED UP WITH TEN LOAVES.  SOMETIMES I EAT BREAD W/PASTA AND SOMETIMES I DON'T.

SO, HOW WAS YOUR DAY?
